I'M COMING HAWAII!!!

If you're seeing this post, it means my kids are feeling much better. I'm on my way to Hawaii!

Yes, I have to rub it in!!! J/K! I'm so totally stoked about going! Here in Utah it'll be snowing/raining on and off around the low 40's. And in Hawaii... (drum roll please) right around 78 degrees everyday! Oh baby!

I don't have any pics of Hawaii... yet, so I'll just post a few pictures of flowers. Enjoy the spring like pictures while I'm gone, cause when I get back, I'm going to bombard you with all my wonderfully, boring pictures!

I know, not the best pictures in the world, but I like them!

Falling Apart

The title of this post fits in more than one way. First, everything seems to be falling apart, and less than 24 hours before I leave for Hawaii!!!

First, the good "falling apart".

In case you can't tell, Eden, who is 4 (almost 5) lost her first tooth yesterday! She was so excited about it! So for those of you in the area, next time you see her, she'll probably want to show you several times.

Now, the not so good falling apart.

Yesterday I took Amanda in to the doctor's office because she was absolutely miserable. It turns out she has a terrible ear infection. But on top of that, her doctor started scaring me by talking about Amanda being very likely to get pneumonia. The doctor was so serious about it and said if she didn't improve in the next 24 hours she'd want to see Amanda again! So she prescribed a strong antibiotic for the ear infection and hopes it'll keep pneumonia away. Thankfully today, Amanda has been feeling much better.

So I was thinking all day yesterday "this trip isn't going to happen!!! I'm not meant to go to Hawaii. I'm going to stay home and be a good mom." But once she was feeling better, I started thinking I was going to go after all.

But then this evening Eden and Ashley both start complaining about their ears. So, at 7:45 this evening I took them to the doctors. Left there at 9:15 and finished getting their prescriptions filled at 10:00.

I leave tomorrow afternoon... maybe! Is it going to happen? I don't know. I'm having a hard enough time leaving my kids anyway. It doesn't help that they're getting sick at the last moment.

If I can't go does anyone want the tickets?

Sorry for complaining. I just had to let it all out. That and I wanted to post that picture of Eden!

Our Valentine's Day

The day before Valentine's we had a cousin party at Melanie's house. If you want to see pictures of that go check her blog because I forgot my camera.

Our Valentine's day was pretty boring. With Paul still in Washington not much happened that day. I spent most of the morning cleaning for a showing of our house. But in the afternoon we decided to make cupcakes.

Poor Mandy wasn't feeling well, but she tried her hardest to have fun.

Ashley is such a ham. She posed for this picture and wanted the tongue included!

Picture Tag

My wonderful sister tagged me.

I guess you take your 6th file and the 6th picture in it. So here it is!

I don't know who's already done this, so I'll just list off a bunch of names and if you've already done this, then either ignore this, or change it up a bit. So, I tag Jennifer, Jenny, Debbie, Merilee, and Katie!

I Love to See the Temple

Paul was home this past weekend and we were able to attend the Draper Temple open house with our daughters!

It was a lot of fun walking through it and watching the faces of our kids. Afterward we went to the church right next door for some snacks. There were pictures all around the gym. It was really nice.

While at the church, Eden and Mandy got in to a hug-a -war! They had a ton of fun till they fell over and Mandy bonked her chin.

If I would have looked at this picture before leaving, I would have asked her to include more temple and less sidewalk. Oh well.
